CUE Library Resources

CUE Library Website - Type your your search terms in the box then press enter. On the results list, use the checkboxes on the left to limit your results or start from scratch with an Advanced Search. Here are some helpful search limiters: 

  • Use the Format menu and choose Book, eBook, or another format.
  • Use the Audience menu and choose "Juvenile" for children's books
  • Use the Content Type menu to choose Fiction or NonFiction.
  • Use the Held by Library checkbox beside Concordia (un-check the NEOS box if you only want to see CUE Library holdings)

Questions about borrowing books and using ebooks?

Prefer digital resources? Limit your search to ebooks, eVideos, or articles.

  • Place an interlibrary loan request to receive a scan of articles or ebook chapters not available at CUE Library.

  • Click on a list to open it and browse the titles.
  • Click on a title to open its CUE Library record.
  • Scroll down to see that item's contents, subjects, and descriptors.
  • Use those terms to do a fresh search and find similar items.

To create an account and request access to the locked teacher resources, follow the instructions on pages 5-9 of the LearnAlberta User Manual. If you do not have an Alberta Certified Teacher Number, choose the Post-Secondary Educator/Pre-Service Teacher Access option.

Contact CUE Library to get the jurisdictional login & password for CUE students

  • Authorized Resources Database - Find textbooks, teacher manuals, and other resources for a particular subject or grade. Under 'Authorization Status' choose 'Student Basic' to find textbooks (sometimes several titles are approved). Check the CUE Library catalogue or your practicum school to find copies of these items.
  • Programs of Study - Use the dropdown menu to locate the one you want. Once open, look for the backpack or apple icons indicating related student and teacher resources.
  • Resource Search - Use this to find teaching resource suggestions, using the checkboxes to limit by subject, grade, and other features

To locate suggested resources (that are not freely available online), search for them using the CUE Library website because your CUE login will not open digital resources from other institutions.
