Creating Lesson Plans

Start at the CUE Library Website main search box or use the Advanced Search page for more options.

To find books about lesson planning, try these search terms:

  • "curriculum planning" or "lesson planning"  or teaching will find books about those topics in general
  • Add the name of a specific subject like mathematics, science, or "language arts"
  • Be creative in naming your subject: try mathematics or subtraction, try science or "climate change"
  • Try adding the words elementary or primary or children to remove results that apply to teaching adults
  • Here is a sample search: teaching science elementary

You can place holds on books (not ebooks) and have them brought over from other NEOS libraries

You can also limit the results to ebooks available from CUE Library, if you prefer online resources.

ebooks - log in with your CUE email and password. Most of these require you to create a personal account in order to print, save, or download information.

Books - available from CUE Library, located in the Curriculum Collection on the main floor.

Videos - log in with your CUE email and password.
