Some textbooks are available from CUE Library, but there are a few things to keep in mind.
When you search for textbooks in the library catalogue
- Type the book title and one or more of the authors’ last names into the appropriate search boxes then click the SEARCH button.
- Pay attention to the edition and/or year of publication listed in your syllabus as the library may not have the edition you require.
- The loan period may be limited to 2 to 6 weeks. If someone places a hold on a book that you have borrowed, you are required to return it within 1 week from the date on the email recall notice.
- If you return a book late, library fines will be applied to your CUE student account.
CUE Library licenses some textbooks as ebooks
- You may be required to create a personal account with EBSCO or ProQuest in order to save/print/download or read library ebooks offline.
- Some publishers limit the number of people who can use an ebook at the same time.
- If you are turned away from opening an ebook, try again in half an hour.
- When you finish reading, please log out so the next person can open it.
